Welcome to the Connecticut Section (NCS) of AACE International. AACE International is a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional educational association founded in 1956 and is the largest organization globally serving the entire spectrum of the cost and management profession.

The Connecticut Section provides an active business community for cost engineering and management professionals in the greater Connecticut region. AACE International seeks to provide its members with the resources needed to enhance their performance and promote continued growth and success in their professional careers.

The Connecticut Section serves a wide variety of professionals including: cost engineers and managers, project managers, planners and schedulers, estimators and bidders, value engineers, earned value professionals, and claims consultants.

We also seek to support our members in their awareness of the requirements, standards and best practices required for the planning, development, and execution of all aspects of project controls and in the application of total cost management (TCM) to the scope, cost, and schedule of any particular program or project throughout its life-cycle. We aim to achieve these goals through a variety of professional development seminars, field trips, and networking opportunities, to maintain a lively and active forum for our members as well as other professional colleagues in Connecticut. Some of our events include joint meetings organized with allied professional associations.

Certification examinations are now offered by computer based testing and information is available on this website. 

Who is AACE International?

AACE International is a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional association. With over 8,600 members world-wide, AACE International serves total cost management professionals in disciplines such as: cost engineering, cost estimating, planning and scheduling, decision and risk management, project management, project control, cost/schedule control, earned value management, claims, and more. AACE International has members in 87 countries and cover 80 local sections.

Who is AACEI CT?

The Connecticut Section of AACE International is a collection of professionals representing many different industry sectors in Connecticut including construction, transportation, manufacturing, government, and others.
